MILWAUKEE (AP) — Giannis Antetokounmpo is the newest NBA megastar to be sidelined via COVID-19.
The league's injury file on Tuesday evening listed both-time MVP as out for the Milwaukee Bucks' video game towards the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday because he's within the health and safety protocols.
Milwaukee's Wesley Matthews and Donte DiVincenzo even have entered the COVID-19 protocols and gained't play Wednesday.
Antetokounmpo performed Sunday at new york and Monday at Boston. He had a triple-double within the victory over the Knicks and scored 20 points in the loss to the Celtics.
He's averaging 27 aspects, eleven.6 rebounds and 5.eight assists this season.
earlier this season, Bucks ahead Khris Middleton overlooked eight games after checking out tremendous for COVID-19. ultimate season, Milwaukee's Jrue holiday overlooked 10 video games for the same rationale.
The Bucks went 3-5 within the games Middleton missed after his wonderful check. Middleton is questionable for Wednesday's online game after leaving the Celtics online game early with a hyperextended left knee.
