U.S. administers over 416 mln doses of COVID-19 vaccines - CDC

Oct 27 (Reuters) - the united states has administered 416,154,424 doses of COVID-19 vaccines within the country as of Wednesday morning and dispensed 507,637,305 doses, the U.S. centers for sickness control and Prevention noted.

these figures are up from the 415,012,026 vaccine doses the CDC referred to had gone into arms via Oct. 26 out of 504,584,715 doses delivered.

The agency noted 220,936,118 americans had acquired as a minimum one dose while one hundred ninety,990,750 americans are fully vaccinated as of 6:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday.

The CDC tally contains two-dose vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech , in addition to Johnson & Johnson's one-shot vaccine.

About 14.four million americans have received a booster dose of both Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine. Booster doses from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson have been authorized through the U.S. health regulator on Oct. 20. (Reporting through Amruta Khandekar in Bengaluru)
