Stephanie Grisham, former Trump press secretary, says his response to COVID-19 can charge lives — and that she's 'terrified' he'll run in 2024

Stephanie Grisham served as White condominium Press Secretary from July 2019 to April 2020.

She also served as chief of group of workers to former First woman Melania Trump.

She resigned from the Trump administration after the January 6 revolt.

A former spokesperson for ex-President Donald Trump said she now thinks he will run once again in 2024 - and that his administration's "misinformation" on COVID-19 charge lives, flipping her from a "actual believer" to a critic.

"It does seem like he will are trying to run in 2024," former White house Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham mentioned in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos that aired Monday. "I did not at the start, but i am starting to accept as true with he will. he's evidently the frontrunner within the Republican party. every person's displaying their fealty to him."

Grisham, who resigned from the Trump administration following the January 6 riot - and what prison specialists say changed into an attempted coup d'etat - warned that a 2d time period for the previous president would doubtless see him concentrated on "revenge" and unveiling "some relatively draconian policies."

"I don't think he is fit for the job," she referred to. "I feel that he is erratic. I believe that he can be delusional. I believe that he's a narcissist and cares about himself first and most effective. and that i do not want him to be our president again."

Grisham - who helped promote the former president's agenda when he turned into in office - conceded that she shared some blame.

"I hope i might have spoken out greater about COVID, about our response to COVID," she instructed Chang. "I wish i would have instructed him he needs to put on a mask."

She spoke of the administration's misinformation on the pandemic - downplaying the utility of masks and agitating in opposition t public fitness orders - ended in greater people loss of life.
