A 33-year-old with Covid-19 has been arrested after allegedly escaping from an MIQ inn in the Auckland suburb of Ellerslie this afternoon.

the man allegedly absconded from the Novotel & Ibis Ellerslie MIQ facility at about 12.50pm and turned into arrested by police in PPE gear at 1.14pm.
he's now in custody within the Auckland District Custody Unit in Mount Eden.
In a press release, Joint Head of MIQ Brigadier Rose King pointed out in a press release that the Covid-19 superb case had been in MIQ seeing that 23 October.
