Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued a statewide executive order banning companies and associations from requiring individuals to provide proof of coronavirus vaccination.
In a movement against the Biden administration's mandate that most better employers require personnel to be vaccinated or publish to a COVID-19 checking out routine, Abbot said that Texans should be allowed to "opt out of being compelled to take a vaccine for explanations of conscience or scientific reasons."
