New Zealand's Ardern orders nationwide lockdown over one COVID-19 case

WELLINGTON (Reuters) - New Zealand major Minister Jacinda Ardern announced a nationwide lockdown on Tuesday after a brand new case of COVID-19 became discovered in the largest metropolis of Auckland.

The lockdown will run seven days in Auckland, however three days in other places. Ardern stated authorities have been assuming the new case become a Delta variant besides the fact that children this has not been established.
