Colts put 2 beginning linemen on COVID-19 list

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts put All-seasoned shield Quenton Nelson and professional Bowl left tackle Eric Fisher on the reserve/COVID-19 listing on Thursday.

Fisher has not yet practiced because he's improving from a torn Achilles tendon suffered in January. he's not anticipated to play except late September or early October. He signed as a free agent in April with the hope he would exchange Colts longtime left tackle Anthony Castonzo, who retired after ultimate season.

Nelson back to practice Monday after missing three weeks following surgery to get rid of a bone fragment in his right foot. He did restrained work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but was now not expected to play in Friday evening's preseason finale at Detroit. The three-time All-professional, who has not ever overlooked a birth in his seasoned profession, intends to retain that streak intact when the Colts open the season Sept. 12 towards Seattle.

The Colts had been some of the NFL's least vaccinated groups although educate Frank Reich lately referred to the percent of those that have taken at least one shot had superior to greater than 75%.
