BEIJING (Reuters) - China on Tuesday reported 42 new confirmed coronavirus instances within the mainland for Aug. sixteen, compared with fifty one a day past, in line with the national health commission.
Of the new infections, six have been in the community transmitted, down from 13 a day prior. That marks the seventh consecutive day of declines in new local circumstances.
China mentioned 17 new asymptomatic coronavirus situations, which it does not classify as demonstrated infections, compared with 20 a day earlier.
No new deaths had been reported. As of Aug. sixteen, mainland China had recorded ninety four,472 confirmed circumstances, with the cumulative demise toll unchanged at four,636.
